BRE supports new Innovation Vouchers scheme

The Technology Strategy Board (TSB) has launched a new national innovation voucher scheme that enables companies to access up to £5,000 of industry expertise to help them innovate, develop and grow their business.  The scheme is aimed at small to medium businesses (SMEs) operating within the built environment sector.

From developing a new product that will help improve the built environment to gaining an insight into intellectual property management, organisations can obtain guidance and support from a range of experts completely free of charge through the scheme.

Chief Executive of BRE Ventures Guy Hammersley said ’This is a great initiative from the TSB and we would encourage companies to take advantage of it. We’ve worked with innovators and small companies for many years and we know that even a small piece of independent expertise can be invaluable in helping them successfully exploit new ideas.‘

Experts that can be accessed through the scheme include research and technology specialists, such as BRE, universities, technical colleges, technical consultancies, design professionals and intellectual property advisers.
